Michael Swartz Obituary
Michael L. Swartz, 59, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Rome Health. Born in Utica on November 5, 1963, he was a son of William and Patricia (Winters) Swartz.
Mike worked for Schwan's Home Delivery for 14 years before moving on Varflex where he worked for the last four years.
He was a big sports fan and loved his Buffalo Bills. During the warmer months he liked nothing better than sitting at home around a fire with family and friends.
Mike is survived by his mother, Patricia Swartz; his longtime companion, Mary Potter; two children, Teresa Swartz (Michael) and Michael Swartz; two brothers, Kharl Swartz (Lori) and Eric Swartz (Allie); two grandchildren, Michael and Ariona; a step-son, William Potter (Kaitlyn) and his son, Lucas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, William Swartz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17 at the Rome Elks Lodge, 126 W. Liberty St., Rome, NY 13440.
