Michael Szostkowski Obituary
Mike was born in Wilmington on May 8, 1991 and was a graduate of Hodgson Vo-Tech High School, class of 2009. A person of great artistic talent, he was a skilled tattoo artist and was capable of drawing with a keen eye for detail. Mike was also an exceptional athlete and a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed a good party and could always make you laugh with his joking ways and infectious smile.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Lilliana Szostkowski and her mother, Kate Bluethenthal; his parents, Richard and Lisa (Rogers) Szostkowski; his brother, RJ Szostkowski and wife, Stephanie; his twin brother, Matt Szostkowski; his niece Ivy Szostkowski; along with many cousins and lifelong friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, October 8 from 2:00 – 3:00PM, with a remembrance service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Lilliana Szostkowski Education Fund. Kindly make checks payable to Edward Jones with a notation in the memo Lilliana Szostkowski 529 and mail to Edward Jones Investments, 7909 Parklane Road, Suite 150, Columbia, SC 29223.
