Michael James Taylor

Michael James Taylor, 36, of Ocala, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on 10/15/2023, in Boynton Beach, FL. He graduated from Vanguard High School (Ocala, FL) in 2005, and was a member of the wrestling team. Served as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2005-2009, serving 3 tours with Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served as a Sargeant in the U.S. Army from 2011-2016 serving 1 tour in support of Operation New Dawn in Iraq and 1 tour to Afghanistan. In the civilian world, he worked as a Communication Specialist/Tower Hand across the U.S. He enjoyed racing dirt bikes, skateboarding, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 12 years, Tabitha Taylor of Brooksville, FL; his son, Trenton James Taylor; Parents: David and Kelli Taylor of Ocala Florida; Brother, Greg Taylor of Ocala; sisters Rachael Curtis (Taylor) and Heather Taylor of Ocala, Florida; Brother-in-Laws Neil Curtis of Toney, AL, Tom & Charles Christ of Brooksville; Mother-in-Law, Kimberly Hand of Brooksville, FL; Father-in-Law, Thomas Christ of Tampa, FL; Grandparents Judy Pauls of Ocala, FL and Mary Westbrook of Ocklawaha, FL; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on 10/26/2023, at VFW Post 4209 located at 4805 NE 36th Ave in Ocala, Florida from 5:30-8:30pm. Everyone is Welcome to attend.
A private family service will be held at Brewer & Sons Funeral home prior to the burial service.
Burial Services will be held at: The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
on 10/27/2023 @ 1:30pm. All are welcome.
