Michael Lee Thompson, 75, of Clarksville, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, on January 23, 1950, Michael lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to his family and community. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Susan Thompson. Together, they built a strong and faithful home, raising two sons: Brandon (Jennifer) Thompson and Cole (Dove) Thompson. He was a proud and caring grandfather to Brayden, Gavin, Micah, Rain, and Lillian. Michael also leaves behind his beloved sisters, Debi (Jim) Hatfield and Kate Thompson. Michael retired from General Motors after 33 years of dedicated work as a machinist at Metal Fab. Outside of his profession, he served faithfully as a deacon in several churches over the course of more than 30 years, offering spiritual guidance, support, and humility to all who knew him. Most recently, he was a member and deacon of Frink Baptist Church in Clarksville, FL. In his free time, Michael found joy in life's simple pleasures. For many years, he was an avid golfer on several leagues, as well as a bowling coach for many years. His steady presence, gentle humor, and steadfast love will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Frink Baptist Church of Clarksville, FL.
