Michael Anthony Thompson

Michael Anthony Thompson age 65 of Georgetown/Cleveland, TN passed away at peacefully at his home in Decatur, TN.

Michael was born on July 11th, 1960 in Cleveland, TN to the late Edna Thompson and Warren Sharp SR. Two brothers, James ‘Silk’ Thompson, and Fredrick Thompson, aunt Alice Lee Sharp. He dedicated over 10years to Watson Supermarket where he was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and willingness to help anyone in need.

Michael enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many through his generosity and warm spirit.

He is survived by his sisters , Robin Fletcher and Tinika Sharp, and his brother, Warren Sharp Jr. His nieces, nephews, and great-niece and nephew, also by special niece and nephew Tanesha Thompson and Tony McCleary. He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle, Mary Winton, Tom(Faye) Thompson, and Teresa(Sherman) Huff. A host of cousins and one close friend, Dave Hampton.

A celebration of Mike life will be held on Saturday, November 29th, at 3:00 p.m. at M.D. Dotson Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN with visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Family will receive visitors at his sister Robin Fletcher house after the service.
