Michael and I grew up in the same neighborhood--seems I was always 'over at Cheryl's', I spent many days and nights at the Tichy household. Michael was mischievious and I can still see him running through the house with his sandy-colored hair; he was always riding a bike, or out playing ball; Michael was truly an all-American child. He served his country proudly; I will miss seeing him marching in the parades; I will miss his jokes, his smile, seeing him about town; My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. The world has lost a previous man.

Michael was the first person in my life I called my best friend. When we were kids, since we both lived on the same street, we were always at each other's houses. We dug up old bottles at Bauer's Pond and I still have mine displayed in my home to this day. We had fun together, got into mischief and were overall the typicall all American kids. He was a great freind. Even though I haven't lived in CT for 20 years, the loss of him leaves a hole in my life.

Mike became my friend when we worked together in Old Saybrook, where as a young man I learned a tremendous amount from him. We had many good times. I'll always fondly remember a hunting trip we took together, great conversations at a Mexican restaurant, and quite a few fun karaoke nights. Rest in peace, my friend.

Mike was the guy who would always help out. I met him when he got out of the Army and enjoyed his company since then. I learned to shingle a roof, put up clapboards and sweat copper pipes from him. Mike was a great person and will be missed

Thought and prayers go out to Mike and his family. He now has wings and will be taken care of by God. I will miss seeing Mike around town. Be strong for he is now at peace.

I do not know if I can get to the service but am sending my condolences to his mother and and family who I've never met but am sure they are wonderful people just as Mike was.

I was very sorry to hear about Mike. I did not know him well, but I remember that he always had a smile to give. My prayers are with his family. He will be remembered.
