Michael Eugene Tracy

Michael Eugene Tracy, 76, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at a local health care facility. He was born November 7, 1949 in St. Joseph, son of Lydia and John Tracy. Michael worked for many years as a Truck Driver and also a Mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars or basically anything with a motor. He was always optimistic, willing to help, and he was a wonderful companion, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by father, John Tracy, mother, Lydia Mae Tracy, son, Michael Nolan, daughter, Cindy Wolfing, brothers, Raymond, Johnny, Archie, Tommy, Charles, and David Tracy, sisters, Juanita "Skeet" Adair, Joy Christofferson, Linda Baker, Pat Coffey, Mary Katherine Guinn, and Sheila Hatfield. Survivors include: his Significant Other of 33 years, Hazel Timmons of the home, daughter, Robin (Brian) Collings, step-son, Doug (Karla) Timmons, step-daughter, Dawn Timmons, brother, Cliff (Carol) Tracy, and sister, Louise (Donald) Hamilton, all of St. Joseph, 12 grandchildren, Kayla (Bryston) Andres, Brandon Wolfing, Haley (Clay) McDaniel, Tyler Collings, Tucker Bottorff, Jade Curnutt, Kadin Shaw, Tim King, Bianca (Eli) Paxton, Aerial (Del) Petty, Ashlan Brown, and Precious Tracy, 9 great grandchildren, Karson, Kimberlyn, Breydin, Mia, Ruben, Hakeem, Karston, De'Karah, and Zaye, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tracy has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
