Michael J. Ulibarri

Michael Joe Ulibarri, age 80, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 17, 2025. Mr.. Ulibarri is survived by his daughters;  Esther Ann Trujillo and husband, Freddy, Lisa Chavez and husband, Patrick, Angela Apodaca and husband Ron; seven grandchildren, Nicole and partner, Chris, Nicolas, Noelle and partner, Jose, Kristopher, Marriah, Brooklyn, and Brock; one great-granddaughter on the way, Nevaeh, sister, Ivon Ulibarri and partner, Rosie Encinias. The family would like to acknowledge his very special caregivers, Diana Romero and Nery Quiroa for their loving care. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ulibarri; parents, Domingo and Santana Ulibarri; sister, Viola Otero and brother Domingo Ulibarri Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited by Yolanda Pickup at 10:15 a.m. Communion Service will be celebrated with Deacon Roger Anaya presiding at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be, Freddy Trujillo, Patrick Chavez, Ivon Ulibarri, Nicolas Romine, Kristopher Montano, and Brock Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bernie Gutierrez and Johnny Baca.
