Michael T. Van Oss, 77, of Green Bay, WI, passed away on January 30, 2025, at home surrounded by his wife and family. Born January 11, 1948, he graduated from East High School. Following high school, Mike had a 45-year career at Ford dealerships in Green Bay as a Heavy Truck Mechanic.Mike had many interests in life, but his favorite was boating and spending time on the water. He loved car racing, deer hunting, the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.Mike is survived by his wife Janet, his children: Sarah (Jerry) Rozmarenoski, Polly (Jermaine) McDaniel, Christine Van Oss; step children: Kimberley Gardner and David (Jessi) Gardner; 9 grandchildren: Micaela, Rachael, Adrian, Donte, Xavion, Jordan, Jamal, Julius, and Aiden; 2 great grandchildren: twins Rome and Ahlani. He is further survived by his sister Linda (Kenny) Schoen and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Mike was preceded in death by his parents: Bernard and Margaret (LaPlante) Van Oss; infant daughter Michelle; brother and his wife Gerry and Andrea (Page) Van Oss; parents-in-law Ed and Rose Brickl; brother-in-laws Kenny Schoen, Karl Brickl, Mike Brickl, Paul Voelker and Doug Anderson.A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
