John L. Raymaker passed away unexpectantly January 17th, 2026, surrounded by the memories of a life deeply rooted in love, music, and the great outdoors.

John was born in Appleton, WI on May 13, 1980 to parents Christopher L. Raymaker and Robin A. Ehlert. He was married on July 16, 2016 to his wife, Terra (Stutleen) Raymaker, and was a man whose heart was happiest under open skies.

John had a lifelong passion for the outdoors. He loved exploring new places, fishing quiet waters, camping, and sharing his knowledge of nature with children - especially teaching them how to appreciate and respect the outdoors. Riding dirt bikes and ATVs brought him joy and freedom, and he was always eager for the next adventure.

Most recently, John built his home in Wausaukee, WI, where he continued to embrace the outdoor life he cherished so much.

Music was another powerful part of John's life. He played bass and drums in a band, finding connection and expression through rhythm and sound. His love of music was as strong as his love for the land.

John worked as a skilled masonry and stone worker for over 20 years, taking pride in his craftsmanship and the lasting beauty of his work. His hands built more than stone, they built a legacy of hard work and dedication.

John shared a special bond with his three beloved dogs, Honey Bear, Ollie, and Sasha, who were constant companions and brought him endless comfort and joy.

John adored his nieces and nephews. He was especially proud of his nephews, Julian and Richard, whom he loved deeply and thought of as his own sons. His guidance, passion, and care left a lasting mark on their lives.

Surviving John is his wife Terra; his mother Robin Ehlert; nephews: Richard Brunette and Julian Chirillo ; siblings: Jeremy (Carmen) Raymaker (3), Joseph (Elizabeth Pritzl) Raymaker (3), Ashley (Brian) Monfils (3); mother-in-law Karin Stutleen (Ryan); father-in-law Kevin (Cande) Nielson; and sisters-in-law: Maureen (Jeremy) Horst (2), Jacinda Jenkins (1) and Jenna Nielson.

John was preceded in death by: his father Christopher Raymaker ; his step-father Mark Ehlert; Grandparents, John and Patricia Collen (maternal) and Leonard and Kathleen Raymaker (paternal).

John will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, generous heart, and the way he made others feel welcome in his world. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thank you for everyone's support and love during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 7th, 2026, from 1:00-4:00, at the The Razz at 400 Schoen St, Green Bay, WI 54302. Please feel free to bring a dish to pass.
