Carol Raymaker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Squires Funeral Home - Bay City on Apr. 10, 2024.
Carol J. Raymaker (Logan)
Kawkawlin, Michigan
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, age 71. Carol was born March 26, 1953, in Bay City. She married Theodore M. "Ted" Raymaker, Jr. on April 3, 1970, and he survives her. Carol worked for several years at Roy's Party Store in Crump and then went to work at Linda's Party Store in Crump as well. She enjoyed watching the Antique Road Show, collecting carnival glass and antique bangles, attending the Midland Antique Festival, and traveling to other antique festivals throughout the state. Most of all, Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them whenever she had the opportunity.
Carol is survived by her husband Ted, four daughters: Tracy Pope, Tanya King, Tory Raymaker, and Tara (Paul) Grubaugh, grandchildren: MacKenzie, Allan, Annastazia, Abagail, Aiden, and Auroara, one sister Michelle (Jim) Daubert, one brother Robert Logan, and many other cousins and relatives. Carol was predeceased by her father Donald Logan, her mother Kathleen (O'Malley) Finn, and one brother James Sutton.
Per Carol's wish, cremation will take place. The Funeral Service for Carol will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Squires Funeral Home, 211 N. Henry Street, Bay City, MI 48706. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, April 20th from 12:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the "Wishes of the Family" in care of Theodore Raymaker, Jr. www.squiresfuneralhome.com.
