Michael Vasek Obituary
Michael J. Vasek, 63 of Jackson, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at a Sioux City, Iowa hospital. Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements.
Michael was born on February 12, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska to Richard Vasek and Nancy Cabeen. After graduation, Michael worked in the medical industry, primarily in laundry, and sanitation.
Michael is survived by his sisters Joyce Vasek, Crystal (Mark) VanDePol, and Dawn (Mike) Schincke, and brother Randy (Alayne) Merritt.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
