Michael Vinson Jr. Obituary
Michael Vinson Jr., age 47, of Ligonier, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1977, to Michael Wayne Vinson Sr. and Frankie Oliver in Louisville, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Vinson of Ligonier; son, Michael Wayne Vinson III of North Carolina; stepson’s Maverick and Dakota Shroyer; sister, Charlene Vinson of Louisville and brother, William Michael Thomas of Kendallville; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Brandon Watts; sister, Tara Thomas.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025 from Noon to 4:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A funeral service held in Mr. Vinson’s honor at 4:00 PM, following the visitation. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Topeka, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
