Michael Wafford Jr.

Michael Dewayne Wafford Jr. was born September 30, 1987, in Chicago Illinois. He was the oldest of four siblings Born to Michael Wafford and Linda Wafford. He graduated 8th grade from Parker Community Academy; where friends became family and attended Paul Robeson High School. Most recently, he relocated to Georgia, to get a fresh start in life.
Michael, also known as "Snuggles", "Lil Mike" and "Mike G", was known and loved by many. He was sweet, quiet, and humble. He was also a deep thinker; one who thought outside the box and always wanted to take his own lead. Even though he was quiet, he was also an outspoken person, and never afraid to speak his own mind.
On the flip side, Mike was the life of the party and the first to bust out in a dance. He had a natural sense of humor, where just him being him, made you laugh. He was a Fly Guy, as he often called himself. Any chance he got to celebrate, he would, but not without a fresh cut and a fly fit.
Mike loved his family, and they meant the world to him. His children, Ryen, Rilley and Mya had a special place in his heart and were his biggest pride and joy. He was known as "Uncle Mike" to his four special nieces and nephews: Judarius, whom he called his "Juicy J", Elijah, his "Lil Man", Elena and A'laya. His younger brother, Lyndelll, was his "right hand man" and his twin, as he called him; and there was nothing he wouldn't do for him. He called his sisters, Amanda and Monique, his angels, because they always held him up when he fell short, and he never strayed too far from his parents, Linda and Mike. He always came back home when he needed to get himself together; and they were always there to receive him, with opened arms. There weren't too many moments that you didn't catch Mike around cousins and other family members; he was that "family guy", as he called himself.
Mike departed this life on March 7, 2022. He is now in Paradise with his grandfather, Bernell Staple; his niece A'laya Serenity Wafford; his cousins Olajuan Nuttall and Cedric Sorrels; his aunts, Earlene Nuttall and Mia Hope; his uncles John JT Quinn and Roosevelt "Pocat" Nuttall.
