Mike “Wally” Walseth, age 77, of St. Paul Park, MN, passed away peacefully July 5th after a battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Park High School and the UofM where he was a 1st team All-American in 1969 and 2021 Inductee to the M Club Hall of Fame for Gopher Baseball. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves & played 10 pro seasons. He was a three-sport coach at Park High and was a beloved friend to many.
Preceded in death by parents Tom & Lois, brothers Pat & Tim. Survived by siblings Jon (Valerie), Mary (Mark), Dan (Annette), Jeanne; nephews and nieces Tyler (Hayley), Marissa, Callie, Natalie, Tom (Mackenzie); great nephew Danny; sister-in-law Jeri.
Celebration of Life 1-4 PM, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the American Legion Post 98, 328 Broadway Avenue. St. Paul Park, MN 55071.
