Michael E. Warnick, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away suddenly on July 15, 2025, at his home in Runnemede, NJ. Born on October 18, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, Michael's life was a testament to his resilience, kindness, and unwavering love for his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he bravely served his country during the Vietnam era, a testament to his courage and patriotism. Following his service, Mike transitioned into a career as a construction worker, where his skills and strong work ethic were evident. He was a respected member of the Laborer's International Union of North America Local #332 and took pride in his contributions to the community.
Mike's talents extended beyond his professional life; he was a skilled handyman whose hands could fix or build almost anything. His resilience was nothing short of remarkable, overcoming numerous accidents and injuries with strength and determination that inspired all who knew him. Mike was also an active member of the Telco Sportsman's Club of Waterford Twp, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and shared interests with fellow members.
An active individual, Michael relished the time he spent exercising, bike riding, and lounging by his pool. His home and yard were a showcase of his dedication, with every corner meticulously cared for. Mike's green thumb was evident from the beautiful bounty of his garden. He took particular joy in decorating his home for the holidays, with Christmas being a special time of year when his festive spirit shone brightest, just like his favorite Harry Potter characters at Hogwarts. His enthusiasm for the New Orleans Saints was infectious, and game days were always a lively event in the Warnick household.
However, it was his family that held the dearest place in his heart. Michael's love for his wife, Pat Warnick (nee Denver), was the foundation upon which their beautiful life together was built. His children, Debbie Chiarulli (Marco), Kelly McNally, and Todd Warnick (Maggie), were his pride and joy, and he instilled in them the values of love and kindness that he embodied.
The legacy of Michael's loving nature is carried on through his grandchildren, the late Jared Chiarulli, Christian Chiarulli (Cristy), Jason Chiarulli, Nicholas Chiarulli (Kasey), Madison McNally (Matt), Samantha McNally, Chloe Warnick, Shauna Warnick, Todd Warnick, Jr, Jenna West, Tori West, Cheyenne West, and his great-grandchild, Samuel Chiarulli.
Those who knew Mike will remember him as a big teddy bear with a heart of gold. His kind, loving nature made him a pillar in the lives of his family and friends. He was the embodiment of a life well-lived, filled with kindness, love, and an unwavering spirit.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel, 5360 Route 42 North, Turnersville, NJ, 08012.
