Michael Kieth Weeks

1962 - 2024

Michael Kieth Weeks passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in Ogden, Utah, at the age of 62. He was born in Logan, Utah, on March 22, 1962, to Leslie Kieth Weeks and Carolyn McNeil. He was the oldest of seven children.

He grew up in Lewiston, Utah, on a dairy farm where, at a young age, he learned to milk cows and drive a tractor to help his father with irrigation and hauling hay. He graduated from Sky View High School. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the Native American reservations in Arizona. After returning from his mission, Mike served in the United States Air Force.

Mike had a great love of his family and enjoyed attending family get-togethers. He loved his nieces and nephews, but his greatest joy was his three children, Keaton, Landon, and Preslianne.

Mike had a great love of music and had a beautiful voice. He often would be found singing hymns and songs from his favorite artists. An active member of his ward choirs, Mike enjoyed sharing his love of music with everyone he could. He also played the harmonica, piano, and violin.

One of Mike's favorite things was to play Santa Claus at local malls and for family parties. He loved to bring joy and magic to children at Christmas.

Michael is survived by his children, Keaton (Alyssa) Weeks, Landon (Jayden) Weeks, and Preslianne (Nathan) Huggins, his parents, Leslie Kieth Weeks and Carolyn McNeil; his brothers Kent Weeks, Troy Weeks, and Spencer Weeks; his sisters Susan (Steven Truex) and Zoe Weeks, thirteen nieces and nephews, and three great-nieces. He is also survived by his good friend Annette Wright.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Travis Weeks.

His family would like to thank the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home staff for their years of dedicated service in taking care of Mike.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Red Rose Funeral Home, 56 S. State Street, Preston, ID 83263. A viewing will be held from 12:00 - 1:45 prior to the funeral services. Interment will follow in the Lewiston, Utah Cemetery.
