A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagler Rock Ave. in West Orange following the visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St.
Michael J. Whelan was born on May 31, 1971, in West Orange, and attended West Orange High School. He worked at Ricoh USA Inc. and resided in Belvidere.
Surviving Michael J. Whelan are his daughter, Elisabeth Whelan, his wife, Alexandra Gehlen Whelan, his mother, Colleen Whelan, his father, James Whelan, his sisters, Theresa Card, Colleen Whelan, Mary Kay Kunz, and Kathleen Morales.
