Michael Whitt Obituary
Michael "Mike" B. Whitt of Clarkridge, Arkansas, passed away January 13, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 77. He was born March 6, 1948, in Roanoke, Virginia, the son of Roy and Margaret Shut Whitt. He married Linda Allen on November 21, 2007, in Crockett, Texas. Mike worked in engineering with FMC in Houston, Texas for many years. He was determined to live in the Twin Lakes area and moved to Clarkridge in 2014. Mike enjoyed wood working, piddlin' around, and spending time outside.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Linda Allen; daughter, Catherine Powell of WV; stepchildren, Kathy (David) Merchant of LA, and Sam J. (Gracie) Allen of LA; grandchildren, Justin Powell of NV, Sonja (Brandon) Wall of LA, and Heather (Steven) Chandler of LA, Ryan Allen of LA, and Samantha Allen of LA; great-grandchildren, Livi Rae Wall of LA, and Brynlee Wall of LA; and brothers, Stephen Whitt of VA, and Richard (Sherry) Whitt of KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and beloved son, Brett Whitt.
