Michael Barry Wiener, 71, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and friends on February 13, 2026. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 7, 1954, a beloved son of the late Jerome and Irma Wiener. He was raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts and graduated from Wilbraham Academy. From a young age, he was employed at his father's tire business, Bob Wiener Tire, until he took over the family business. He then went on to work for J Polep Distribution Services up until his retirement in 2026. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend who showered his family and friends with love and affection which was returned to him a thousand fold. He leaves his loving wife Cynthia Bergman, his two children, Julia Wiener and Jerome Wiener and his wife, Katie Wiener. He also leaves his sister and her husband, Linda and Moshe Ronen, and their children, Tiffany Berliner and her husband, Matthew Berliner, and Robert Ronen and his wife, Alicia Ronen. His funeral will be held Sunday February 15, 2026 at 1 P.M. at the Ascher Zimmerman Funeral Home, 44 Sumner Avenue, Springfield MA 01108. His burial will be to follow at Temple Beth El's Cemetery, 350 Kings Highway, West Springfield, MA 01089. For those who prefer, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Starling Physicians Foundation to their Cancer Comfort Program.
