Sunday, March 17, 2024, God called home Michael L. Worth. Michael was born July 28, 1971, in Jacksonville, FL.
Michael was a 1989 graduate of Englewood High School in Jacksonville, FL. He also attended A.F. Community College and Florida Community College of Jacksonville. While attending college, Michael was enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Security Journeyman from 1989 to 1996. During his enlistment, Michael was also a member of the United States Airforce Honor Guard. He was the recipient of many awards while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Michael was recently a staff member at Gerber Collision and Glass as a Parts Department Manager.
Michael is predeceased by his mom, Jonan Worth Leopard.
Michael leaves behind his loving wife, Amanda Worth of Folkston, GA; his children Troy Worth of Jacksonville, FL, Jewel Worth of Jacksonville, FL, Grace Worth of Folkston, GA, and Taylor Worth of Folkston, GA. Also surviving are his brother James Leopard (Ann) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren Galaxy and Galileo (Leo) Morales both of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was known for his love of family and friends, as well as his love for Jesus and being a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. He also enjoyed fishing, watching sports, loving Star Wars, and loving the Florida Gators.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23rd at Shepard Roberson Funeral Home, with Pastor Trent Long officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
