Michael Wray Obituary
Michael Duane Wray, Jr., 53, of Science Hill, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at his residence.
He was born in Mitchell, IN on August 15, 1972; son of the late Michael D. Wray , Sr. and Sandra Reynolds Wray. He was a dedicated laborer who took pride in an honest day's work and the life he built through it. In his free time, he found joy in the outdoors-especially fishing and hunting-and was always happiest with a rod in hand or out in the woods. At home, he loved staying busy, working on projects and caring for the place he and his family shared. He was deeply devoted to his loved ones, cherishing his wife, Melinda, and holding his family at the center of everything he did. A talented tattoo artist, he expressed creativity through his craft and appreciated the stories behind every piece. Above all, he adored his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride, laughter, and love.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda (McBride) Wray whom he married on April 4, 2014; his children, Joshua Miller & (Brittany) and Kelia Coats & (Nathan); two sisters, Michelle Ressler and Holly Wray; six grandchildren and one soon to arrive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael D. Wray , Sr. and Sandra Reynolds Wray; and a son, Levi McBride.
Private services will be held.
