was born on September 30, 1957 and died on June 17, 2024.
Mike was last of 7 kids with 4 sisters and 2 brothers. There was only 8 years difference between the oldest and youngest.
Mike grew up in Delano California and attended St. Mary's School for first through eighth grades, and graduated from Delano High School in 1975. He attended Bakersfield College and got an AA in Music. He worked for the State of California for 34 years prior to retiring in 2015.
On August 30, 2008, Mike was baptized in the Carmichael SDA church.
On January 30, 2009 he married Marilyn and they have lived in the Sacramento area for the past 15 years..
He was the preceded in death by his sister Debbie and brother Rick.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his brother Stuart, and his sisters Earleen, Linda, Patti; and numerous "I Love Uncle Mike" nieces and nephews

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry to hat this news! My deepest heartfelt condolences to the family! Michael and I took the MHTP training together and instantly connected with one another through music and song. I was always blown away by his beautiful voice and effortless guitar playing. He will be sorely missed! All my love and appreciation for knowing such a lovely man!

I loved his music and his voice. When he would play in the lobby at Kaiser, I would often take a moment to take in his music - his soothing voice and calming style created an atmosphere of peace. He will truly be missed.

I got to meet Michael through MPIH. He was a friendly guy and wish I would have been able to gotten to know him better. I'm thankful for having crossed paths with him.
