Michael Yates Obituary
In loving memory of Michael D. Yates, 73, Sunrise June 24, 1951 and Sunset September 20, 2024 who passed away suddenly at home into eternal joy and happiness with the Lord. Michael was born to Walter Louis Yates, Jr., and Margaret Alice Yates.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Louis Yates, Jr. and Margaret Alice Yates.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary (Graves) Yates of 44 years; sisters-in-law, Susan Moon and Cathy Jackson. Also left to cherish his memories are his sons, Charles (Fatima) Wakefield-Yates, Michael J. (Fernanda) Yates, Matthew P. (Erendira) Yates, (and Aunt Bette Lou Bethel); grandchildren, McKenzie, Matthew Jr., Juliana, Ezekiel, Martin, Quentyn, Trenton, Landon, Kyan, Geordan, Jazmyn, Charles Jr., Aleyah, Seryna, Mikalah; 11 great grandchildren; his aunt, Bette Lou, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, October 5, 2024 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
