Michael Douglas Yearley, 77, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away November 9, 2025. He was born March 18, 1948 in Valparaiso, Ind. to Alan Richard and Erdice (Lukasiewicz) Yearley.
Michael was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a member of North American Martyrs Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Lincoln Sky Knights, Entomological Society of America, Eagle Scout, Bee Keeper, Waverly Community Band, and University of Nebraska Lincoln Marching Band.
He is survived by his sons, Patrick (Michaela) Yearley and Christopher Yearley; grandchildren, Mallory Yearley, Connor Yearley, David Yearley; siblings, Charles Yearley, Thomas (Suzanne) Yearley, James (Beth) Yearley, Catherine (Steve) Lucas and Anita (Val) Yearley; along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, Neb. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Metcalf Funeral Home.
