Michael L. Yenser, 66, passed away in his home with his loving wife Becky by his side after a fight with prostate cancer on February 1, 2025 at 5:01 p.m. Mike made his way to God.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown.
Mike was born on April 5, 1958 to Celia and Gerald Yenser in Celina, Ohio. He had four siblings, Vicki, Mark, Doug, and Dan. Mike was a man with vision and wanting to build something special in his community. Y's Way has grown over the many years as a reliable and supportive part of this community. His legacy will continue with the help of his family in keeping Y's Way alive and thriving.
In 1996 Mike met and fell in love with Becky. Their lives were full of dreams that they built together. He leaves behind his wife Becky, their daughter, Krista Ready, son-in-law, Shaun Ready and grandchildren, Amelia and Max Ready; son, Stuart Freson, daughter-in-law, Melissa Hacker and grandchildren, Braydon and Makayla Freson; siblings: Vicki (Dan) Bartz, Mark (Cathleen) Yenser, Douglas (Dawn) Yenser, Daniel Yenser; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mike had many passions that were shared with Becky. They loved to spend time with their grandchildren and walking the dogs. He enjoyed pheasant hunting and working on his 1967 Cougar.
Mike will be greatly missed but the love he shared will continue to live on in our memories forever. He often said, "Luck, Love, Strength, and Trust Forever."
