Michael Lane Yeomans, 75, of
Harwich, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025.
Michael lived a life defined by hard work, steady integrity, and a deep love for his family. Over the years he held many occupations, but his greatest professional pride came from Mike Powerhouse Crew, the small construction company he co-founded and operated alongside his brother Kenny Yeomans and his sister Mary Jane. Through this work, Michael built far more than structures - he built trust, lasting relationships, and a reputation for craftsmanship that became a quiet hallmark of his name.
Beyond his work, one of Michael's greatest passions was music, especially the Blues. He found joy and comfort in its rhythm and soul, and he carried that love throughout his life - in the songs he played, the concerts he cherished, and the way music connected him to others. For those who knew him well, the Blues will forever be a soundtrack to his memory.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Tiffany Alvarez, and his cherished grandson, Satori Benford, who were the true lights of his life. Michael also leaves behind his brother Frank "Buddy" Yeomans; his sisters Cecelia Flynn, Mary Jane Yeomans, and Bonnie Yeomans; his son-in-law Hashim Benford; his beloved nephews Chris, Greg, Brett, and Kirk Yeomans; and his great nephews and nieces, Tyler, Trevor, Ava, Jacob, Cassidy, Braden, Julianna, Kira, Avery, and Mason. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he in theirs.
Michael will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, his devotion to family, and the gregarious spirit with which he moved through the world. His legacy lives on in the homes he helped transform, the music he loved, and the countless moments of kindness he offered without expectation.
There will be a small service held for family and close friends this Friday, December 5th, 2p, at Swan Lake Cemetery, 397 Depot St
Dennis Port, MA 02639. For details contact Hashim Benford, 984.287.0407
