Michael Joseph Zaker

Michael Joseph Zaker, 38, of Marshfield, MA. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 9, 2022 in Cumberland RI.

Michael was married to Rita E. (Dunn) Zaker with whom he would have celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary on October 16, 2022.

Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late Richard Zaker Sr. and Catherine (Keefe) Zaker of Dracut MA.

He was a 2002 graduate of Alvirne High school in Hudson NH; where he was a standout singer/guitarist who excelled in all things musical. His life's passion was performing, and his primary vocation was that of a professional musician, singer, song writer and guitarist.

Michael loved playing music, DJing and playing parties. Cooking for friends and family was one of his favorite past times, along with collecting baseball cards. Most of all Mike loved spending time with his family.

Besides his wife Rita (Dunn) Zaker, Michael is survived by his 4 children, Christopher Wedick of Nashua NH. Ava & Abby of Londonderry Nh, and Jacob Zaker of Marshfield MA. His in-laws Michael and Barbara Dunn of Marshfield Ma, Siblings Richard Zaker Jr. and his wife Lynne of Hudson NH, Nancy (Zaker) Nickerson and her Husband Allan Nickerson, Steven Zaker of Londonderry NH. Kellyanne (Zaker) Landry and Her Husband Michael Landry, Brian Taylor of Stoughton Ma. Amy Bellerose of Lawrence MA and Anthony Cotes of Lowell Ma. and was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents Richard Sr. and Catherine Zaker.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10 to 11am followed by a Memorial Service at 11am at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell, MA. Memorials may be made in his name to the Go Fund Me page set up to assist Rita with Michael's final expenses.
