Micheal Eric Lindsay, affectionately known as Mike, was born on July 4, 1981, in Merrillville, Indiana, and passed away on August 25, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He lived a remarkable life, characterized by his infectious personality and a passion for pursuing his interests with fervor.
Mike was a proud graduate of Purdue University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering. His dedication to his education laid the foundation for a successful career that exemplified his commitment to excellence. He embodied the belief of “go big or don’t do it at all,” which resonated through every aspect of his life.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mike was a vibrant individual with varied interests. His love for sarcastic wit made him a beloved figure among friends and loved ones. A true cat lover, he found joy in the simple companionship of his pets. Mike was also a gym fanatic, regularly devoting time to fitness, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining an active lifestyle. His passions extended to the thrill of fireworks and the disciplined skill of visiting the shooting range, pursuits that brought a spark to his adventurous spirit.
Mike's proudest accomplishment came when he earned his ATF license, enabling him to indulge in his love of fireworks in a grand manner. This achievement was a testament to his bold character and zest for life, allowing him to share unforgettable moments with those he cherished.
He is survived by his loving wife, Latoya, with whom he shared two wonderful years of marriage and seven years of companionship. Together, they created cherished memories that will be forever held dear. Mike is also survived by his parents, Virginia and Harry Lindsay, who greatly influenced the man he became.
In addition to his immediate family, Mike was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Christina Kiser, whose impact on his life will always be remembered.
Mike's memory will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His ability to connect with others, combined with his vibrant personality and love for life, will leave a lasting legacy. As we reflect on the joy he brought to our lives, we celebrate the beautiful person he was and the indelible mark he left on those around him.
