Mikealangelo Fitzgerald Youghbor, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 26.
Born on January 8, 1999, in Silver Spring, Mikealangelo lived a life defined by kindness, creativity, and an unwavering spirit. From a young age, he displayed a unique blend of humor and dedication—qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. He was baptized at Eastern Star Church, graduated from Noblesville High School, and later attended Central State University and Ivy Tech.
Mikealangelo had a natural gift for creativity. He was passionate about cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, often crafting recipes and sauces with the dream of one day becoming a full-time chef. His tinkering spirit and love for food brought joy to those who had the privilege of tasting his creations. Beyond the kitchen, he found immense joy in gaming, a passion that not only entertained him but also connected him to a community of friends and lifelong bonds.
He will be remembered most for his generosity, resilience, and ability to bring people together. Mikealangelo had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. His laughter and warmth left lasting imprints on his family, friends, and all who had the fortune of crossing his path.
Mikealangelo was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Alice, and his uncle Victor. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gims, and his uncle George. He is survived by his loving parents, Maureen and Angelo Youghbor; his three older sisters, Melissia, Ariel, and Maya; his nieces, Nyla and Trinity; and his nephews, Adrian and Adonis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church in Indianapolis. The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Mikealangelo’s life and legacy. His spirit of kindness, creativity, and connection will endure in the hearts of all who loved him.
