Michel P. Neracker

Known for his quiet strength, compassion, and humility, Michel endured a 16-month courageous battle with brain cancer. He passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 67.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marwode and Huguette Neracker.

Michel is survived by his loving daughter, Courtney Neracker, and son-in-law, Jordan Wistner. Throughout his illness, Courtney was his tireless advocate-assembling the best medical team in the country and serving as his constant source of strength. His former wife of 27 years, Robin Neracker, along with her mother, Marilyn Zarcone, also provided devoted care during his final months.

Michel shared a special bond with his European family overseas-his Aunt Hannelore Hulin; her son Jean-Philippe Hulin (Tanja); children Noel and Amélie Hulin; Yvonne Bower; her son Steven Parker; children Aidan Ross and Helen Parker; and her daughter Christine Whitburn (lan); children Ben and Lexi Whitburn. He also treasured many lifelong friendships.

For nearly 30 years, Michel lived his calling as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, earning the admiration and respect of colleagues and the deep gratitude and love of countless patients for his skill, empathy, and devotion. His life reflected service, integrity, and selflessness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Beyond his work, Michel cherished the simpler things in life: traveling to visit loved ones with his daughter, being a proud member of the Williamson Flying Club, gathering with family and friends at his cottage on Port Bay, and spending time with his fur grandbaby, Oliver. He also enjoyed raising a glass of German beer in good company, tending to his garden with care, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys with unwavering loyalty.

His courage in the face of illness, his devotion to his family, the care he gave to others through his work, and the kindness he showed throughout his life will remain his lasting legacy.
