Michele Douglas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rivertown Funeral Chapel (Ramsay FH Group) on Feb. 23, 2026.
Michele Ann Marie Douglas, affectionately known as "Mickey" to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on September 12, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, Mickey's life was a tapestry of love, care, and vibrant creativity that touched the lives of everyone around her.

Mickey's journey began as the beloved daughter of Denise Colvin and the late Charles Morris and stepmother Carol Sanchez. Her warm presence and nurturing spirit were a cornerstone of the family, a role she cherished deeply. Mickey's legacy continues through her devoted husband, Mark, with whom she shared a love that was the foundation of their beautiful blended family. Together, they parented eight remarkable children: Tiffany, Michael, Joshua, Justin, Faith, Maranda, Monica, and Mia. Mickey's joy was multiplied with the arrival of each of her 14 beautiful grandchildren, who became the light of her life.

Her mother, Denise Colvin, and sisters Jackie, Katie, and Erica along with their children will carry forward the memories of Mickey's laughter and the countless moments of joy she brought into their lives. She was a beacon of love and strength within her family, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

Mickey's role as a proud mother, grandmother, and homemaker was her most treasured accomplishment. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her interests were an extension of her caring and creative nature. Mickey found joy in simple pleasures, such as coloring, which reflected her artistic spirit. She also had a passion for crafting wooden signs, each piece a testament to her thoughtful and kind nature. Her fondness for mowing the lawn on her zero-turn mower was well-known among her friends and neighbors, as it was a task she performed with enthusiasm and pride. Her obsession with feeding the birds and the deer was a source of joy also.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Mickey will remember her as a loving, thoughtful, and kind soul. She had a gift for making everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her unwavering support and selfless acts of kindness were the hallmarks of her character.

As we bid farewell to Michele Ann Marie Douglas, we celebrate a life lived with grace, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family. Mickey's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind, as her spirit continues to guide and inspire. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the love she gave so freely, and she will be dearly missed.

Mickey's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her family and friends find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love will continue to flourish in the lives of those she loved. As we honor Mickey's memory, we hold close the countless precious moments and the immeasurable impact she had on each of us. Her life was a gift to us all, and her memory will be treasured for eternity.
