Michele D. “Helen” Harrison, 56, of Phenix City, AL died on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, while at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika, AL.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 15, 2025, in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Ms. Harrison was born August 12, 1969, in Columbus, GA daughter of Peggy Webb Poole and the late James Howard Satterwhite, Jr.
Michele loved fishing, especially for catfish, with her family and friends. She seemed to almost always out fish everyone. She was also an avid animal lover, especially her three dogs. Michele was a great mother and grandmother. She never seemed to get mad with anyone and was loved by all who knew her.
Ms. Harrison was preceded in death by her father, James Satterwhite and a grandson, Ethan Harrison.
Survivors include her partner of 33 years, Byron Threlkeld, Phenix City, AL; three children, Craig Harrison, Phenix City, AL, Heath Threlkeld (Rayven), Clarksville, TN and Rachel Threlkeld, Phenix City, AL; a “adopted” daughter, Alex Taylor, Phenix City; one brother, Micheal Satterwhite; nine grandchildren, Noah Harrison, Landon Harrison, Casey Strohmeyer, Liam Helms, Brayden Threlkeld, Braxton Threlkeld, Asher Simmons and Coltson Simmons; several other family members and friends.
