Michele "Mike" Mariani

Mariani , Michele "Mike". Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Age 85. Beloved husband of the late Maria Mariani, with whom he shared 51 wonderful years of marriage. Dearest father of the late Bruno (Susan) Mariani. Proud and cherished grandfather of Christina (Christopher) Urban and Michelle (Kevin) Dyer. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Lina Mariani. Many of Mike's fondest memories took place in the company of his brother in-laws and sister in-laws: Arduino and Gerarda Maiuri, Biago and Nancy Maiuri, Antonio and Mafalda Maiuri, and Serafino and Assunta Ferri. Mike was also a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Mike was born in Ripi, Italy and immigrated to Sterling Heights in 1972. Mike began his career at AB Tube Benders where he worked with Maria and several friends. He later transitioned to Ford Motor Company/DuPont, where he worked many years in the painting department before retiring. He was a dedicated member and volunteer at St. Malachy Catholic Church, where his faith guided his life and service.

Instate Monday September 8, 2025 at 10:00 am until Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike's honor to St. Malachy Catholic Church.
