St Louis, Missouri - Michele Ann Oglevie (nee Knoph), Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, peacefully passed on September 3, 2022 at the age of 89, Michele was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Gerald James Oglevie of 39 years. She is survived by her only child, Michele Marie Storment (Paul) of Belleville, IL and her adoring grandchildren: Emily Fields (Justin ) of Brooklyn, New York, Margo Foster (Max) of O'Fallon, Illinois, and Patrick Storment of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Michele was overjoyed at the birth of her three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Michele earned her BS from St. Louis University in 1956, then taught second grade for the Brentwood Public Schools. Later, Michele was a Deputy with the Board of Election Commissioners in St Louis County where she voted nursing home residents. She was the Sacristan for the chapel at Friendship Village, where she enjoyed her retirement years. The greatest joy in her life was playing and taking trips with her grandchildren. Michele was a dutiful servant of the Lord and was faithful until the end.
Services: Visitation September 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM St Peter's Cathedral, Belleville, IL, Funeral Mass 11:00AM, with Monsignor John T. Myler officiating, burial immediately following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
