Michele Elizabeth Platt

Michele Elizabeth Platt passed away peacefully at her home in Port Saint Lucie, FL on May 4, 2024 surrounded by family and close friends. She was born in Taunton on November 26, 1965 and was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond W. and Sheila A. (Heath) Platt. Michele grew up in Raynham where she attended public school through 8th grade. She graduated from Coyle Cassidy High School in 1984. Michele worked for several years at Morton Hospital, followed by Hines Dermatology. Eventually, her great passion for the ocean brought her down to Port Saint Lucie, where she remained until her passing. Michele was a kind and generous person with many, many friends who loved her dearly.
Proceeded in death by her father, Raymond and brother, Jeffrey, she is survived by devoted mother Sheila Platt of Bridgewater, loving sister Patricia and Shaun Gear of Raynham, nephews Scott Platt of AZ and Ryan Gear of NJ, niece Colleen Gear of Newton, aunts Patricia Heath of Stoughton and Doris Rodriguez of WV, and her best friend and caregiver Darlene Berube of FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anns Church in Raynham on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 10:00 am. All who wish to extend personal condolences to the family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life at the Jockey Club in Raynham following the services.
