Michelle Anderson Obituary
Michelle Marie Luckoff was born June 1, 1982 to Hans and Wanda (Gerving) Luckoff in Cambridge, Minnesota. Michelle grew up in Rush City, the oldest of three girls in her family. Michelle was a varsity pitcher for the softball team and a cheerleader. She loved family road trips her family would take when she was younger, and that love of family time continued when she and Blake had their family.
Michelle married Blake Anderson on February 26, 2011; together they had two sons Owen and Alec. She especially enjoyed living on Cross Lake and participating in water activities with her family and friends. Michelle was very involved with her sons' activities, especially hockey. Michelle had an adventurous spirit; motorcycling, sky-diving, hot air-ballooning, camping and much more. She had a great love and talent for photography, always taking pictures of her family, people, sunsets, nature and won a photography contest in Crosslake, Minnesota for July 4th lighting!
She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by everyone that loved her.
Michelle is survived by her husband Blake Anderson; sons Owen Anderson, Alec Anderson all of Pine City; parents Hans and Wanda Luckoff of Danbury; siblings Jenny (Ryan) Spanier of Ely, Sammy Luckoff of Rush City; grandfather Carl Gerving of Pine City; grandparents Hans (Bonnie) Luckoff of California; nieces and nephews Camden, Addison, Kelsey, Landon, Thomas, Anders, Beck; father/mother-in-law Kevin (Mary) Anderson of Pine City; sister-in-law Lisa (Zach) Hegman of Golden Valley; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Leona Gerving, Mary Luckoff.
Pastor John Stiles will officiate funeral services for Michelle: 11 AM, Monday, August 7, 2023 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City. A gathering time for friends and family is planned: 2-5 PM, Sunday, August 6th at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
