Our Mama, Our Mickey, My Mickey… Michelle Marie Baugh (Baker) of Adrian, MI, died Friday, April 8, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones after a long struggle with COPD. She was born October 4, 1950. The beloved daughter of Keith M. & Mildred R. (Potes) Baker. After graduating from Madison High School in 1968 she married Bruce (Mike) Baugh on November 22, 1968 and they were blessed with three wonderful children. Jenna (Shane) Waldrop, Kelly Baugh and Richard Baugh. She worked mostly as a nurse's aid and had a special way with the elderly. Michelle also worked at Aco Hardware and become quite the DIY expert. Above all her most beloved job was being a stay at home Mom. Her children will cherish that time spent together and the memories they made. Surviving her in addition to her children are her sisters, Kathy (Mike) Bemis, Julie (John) Wellnitz, Jennie (Al) Zubke and all of their families. Her grandchildren, Joshua, Emily & Alyssa Helminiak. Her namesake, Jillian Michelle Baugh and Jayden Jimenez. One very special great granddaughter Amya Regalado. After their divorce she remained close to her former husband, Bruce and his wife, Regina Baugh and his family especially Bobbi "Mom Baugh" her forever mother in law. They all held a special place in her heart. She was proceded in death by her parents Keith & Midge Baker, her brother and sister in law Keith Alan and Cindy Baker. The loves of her life were her children, her family and her precious dog Einstein. She brought so much love to others and found pure joy in doing so. She always said that "Love is in the Details" and lived her life proving that. Til we meet again, we'll remember you always, Our Mama, Our Mickey, My Mickey. I'm so sorry for your loss. Although she wasn't in my life for very long, she had a huge influence on me and I loved her very much. She taught me about Jesus, love, and family. She was strict at times, but also very nurturing and caring. I've always missed her.

Jenna, Kelly and Richard we send our heartfelt sympathy to each of you. I have such fond memories of our time on Spielman Hts. as your neighbors. There is a bond between young families that grow up together. Your mom was taken from you too soon according to our earthly eyes. Our prayers are with each of you now. Fondly Otto and Jan Bilkey

So sorry for your loss. Was so excited to reconnect with Mickey thru Facebook, but sad to find that she was dealing with COPD. My fond memories of Mickey were from when we were in Germany when Mike & my husband were in the service. Then when getting back to the states getting together a couple of times. You were just a baby, Jenna, the last time I saw your mom. Love the picture here - loved that smile of hers. Pray that the sweet memories of Mickey can help you thru this sad time.

Michelle you will be missed by so many. I had the opportunity to really get to know you and Einstein over the past 8 years and I am living in the home that Mike and you had built. You had a special place in your heart to try to help others. I enjoyed our conversations when you would come down to the office. You have been called home as God didn't want to see you struggle anymore.
