With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michelle Robin Brown, beloved wife, mother, sister, educator, and friend, who left us peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 85. Michelle was born on January 11, 1940, in Houston, Texas, to her cherished parents, Jessie and Joseph Beer. Her life spanned over eight remarkable decades, filled with love, learning, and an unwavering commitment to her community.

Michelle's journey began in the vibrant city of Houston, where she laid the foundation of a life dedicated to education and service. After completing her studies at the University of Texas, she embarked on a career as a teacher and educator, where she positively impacted the lives of countless students. Her commitment to excellence and her passion for teaching earned her recognition as the NISD Teacher of the Year, a testament to her dedication and the love she inspired in those around her.

On February 17, 1967, Michelle married the love of her life, Dennis Brown, in Dallas, Texas. Together, they created a nurturing home for their son, Douglas Brown. Michelle's love for her family was boundless, and she dedicated herself to being a caring and gracious mother and wife, always concerned for the well-being of others.

Throughout her life, Michelle was active in her church community. Her faith in Jesus was a guiding light, as she generously gave her time and talents to enrich the lives of those around her. Michelle believed in the power of community and was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Michelle had many interests that brought joy to her life. She was a self-proclaimed bridge fanatic, often gathering with friends to enjoy spirited games. Her love of history and books shaped her worldview and sparked many enlightening conversations. She had a thirst for knowledge and a unique ability to engage others with her passion for the past.

As we remember Michelle, we reflect on the myriad of traits that made her so special. She was not only caring and gracious but also exuded warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Michelle had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and loved, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Michelle is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis Brown, and her cherished son, Douglas Brown. They will carry her memory forward, embodying the values of love, compassion, and resilience that she instilled in them.

A viewing and memorial service celebrating her life will be held on November 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Mission Park North on Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX. We invite all who loved Michelle to join us in honoring her beautiful life and the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind.

Rest in peace, dear Michelle. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
