On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, Michelle M. Hulse-Wetherbee passed away peacefully in Clearfield, Utah. Michelle was born to Donald K. and Nicolasa Hulse in Oahu, Hawaii on April 16, 1973. Michelle grew up in a military family, which meant they moved all over the world. Michelle graduated in 1992 from Dysart High School in El Mirage, Arizona. Later, she earned her associate degree in general studies from Estrella Mountian Community College in Avondale, Arizona.
Shelley met and married her sweetheart, David A. Wetherbee, on February 14, 2004, in Avondale, Arizona. They lived in England for 4 years and later moved to Utah. Michelle enjoyed playing cards, shopping, especially at Ross, bowling, singing karaoke, and spending time with her family. Michelle volunteered her time at the hospital and regularly attended the Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Community Church on HAFB.
Shelley was very family orientated and extremely kind. She could connect with a stranger and make a friend for life. She loved to talk and visit with others. She would always reach out to others to make sure that they were okay; even when she was struggling with her personal challenges.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Donald K. Hulse and Nicolasa Hernandez Hulse; and many aunts and uncles.
Michelle is survived by her husband, David A. Wetherbee of Clearfield, Utah; her brothers, David (Stella) Hulse and Robert (Laura) Hulse; her mother-in-law, Janice Wetherbee of Connecticut; brother-in-laws, Kevin Wetherbee of Connecticut and Scott Wetherbee of Connecticut; sister-in-law, Lisa Warren of Connecticut; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Mass service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven, Utah 84401. A potluck luncheon for family and friends will be held following the service.
Services entrusted to Lindquist's Syracuse Mortuary, 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse, Utah 84075.
The family has requested that those attending the service avoid wearing the color black, and instead wear Shelley's favorite colors: blue or peach.
