Michelle King Obituary

OBIT

Ms. Michelle Felicia King was born on April 13, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Morris Terrell and Kate Boykin. From a young age, she displayed a deep creativity, with a love for art, fashion, architecture, and design, often making her own clothes and drawings. She also enjoyed exploring her hometown of Atlanta.

Michelle graduated from Therrell High School in 1978. She also took classes for fashion modeling. Furthermore, she remained deeply involved in church throughout her life, sharing her gifts through choir, as well as participating in Women's Ministry, Bible Study, and Children's Ministries. She began to attend Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in 2023. She was a faithful missionary and earned several certifications in accounting, medical billing and coding, and interior design.

A quiet soul with a joyful spirit, Michelle brought people together with warmth and grace. She was a devoted mother, wife, and friend whose life was guided by love, friendship, and an unwavering faith. She fought her health battle for over twenty years and she is now able to rest in God. Her memory will continue to be a light in the hearts of all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Reuben King (Chelsea King); a daughter Candice Hughes (Derrick Hughes); grandson Cade Hughes. Mother Kate Boykin; brothers Reginald Terrell (Carol Terrell); Theron Boykin (Tiara Boykin); Stepsister Carmella Styles. Nephews Kevin Terrell (Brittany Terrell), Myles Terrell, Cailen Boykin, Triumph Boykin, Aaron Boykin; and niece Avari Terrell as well as host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.
