On December 29th, 2025 Michelle D. Leist unexpectedly passed away, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of her fiancé: Mark Bruce; son: Jarrod; grandchildren: Evan and Madasen; along with her parents: LeRoy and Jan; and siblings: Robin and Jeff; as well as other extended family members.
She will be dearly missed by all. She had such a positive caring personality. She always made everyone feel better by just a quick visit with her. She had an infectious smile that would let you know she's glad to see you, family, friends and coworkers could attest to this. You could see the love for her family in her eyes as they would light up every time they came around, especially her grandchildren. While at work, she grew and thrived with her lifelong career in transportation safety, it was never just a job to her it was a passion of hers. She always had a candy dish filled for her coworkers and dog treats for any furry friends that tagged along. Her impact reached so far with all the countless lives she touched. There is so much more that could be said about this wonderful person but there isn't enough room to talk about it all. Just know that the void that she left will never be filled.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
