Suzanne "Sue, Suzie, Snooze" Marie Leist, 66, of Dacula, Georgia, entered the arms of Jesus on November 20, 2025. Born on April 11, 1959, in Hartford, Connecticut, Sue lived a life marked by sincerity, gentleness, and a love that wrapped itself around everyone she met.

Sue had a rare and beautiful gift: she made people feel welcomed, loved, and accepted from the moment they walked in the door. She carried a pure and innocent soul - the kind that softened a room and made it feel like home. She loved music and had no hesitation singing her heart out at the top of her lungs, whether it was lunchtime or two in the morning. Her joy flowed freely, and she shared it with others in the simplest, sweetest ways.

She was the peacemaker of the Leist family - the steady presence who held everyone together. Her love wasn't loud or demanding; it was gentle, consistent, and unwavering. Holidays were her favorite time of year, and she poured herself into making them magical. Sue's four beloved dogs were a cherished part of her life, bringing her joy, companionship, and endless affection.

Sue loved her people fiercely. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Rob; her children Jayj, Bridget, and Krista; her grandchildren Olivia, Jacob, and little Wrenley; and a great-grandbaby already held close in her heart. As she entered Heaven, she was joyfully reunited with her parents, Edith and John, her sister Pam, and her beloved daughter Lyndsey, whose absence she carried every day.

Through every trial in her life, Sue loved and trusted God deeply. Her faith wasn't loud or performative - it was steady, quiet, and real. And now she rests fully in the peace she always believed in.

Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. But her legacy - her kindness, her gentle spirit, her laughter, and the way she loved without conditions - will continue in the hearts of everyone she touched.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18 "
