SPENCER – Michelle ‘Mickey’ A. Vallee, of Pope Street, passed away on September 24th, 2025, at the age of 56 at UMASS Memorial Hospital.
Mickey is survived by her sister, Elaine M. Vallee, her best friend in life and beyond, her brother Roy Vallee of Arizona, her loving foster parents, Chris and Genevieve Wilson of Spencer, along with her brother Leo Wilson of Spencer, and her sister, Ashley Wilson of Spencer.
She was predeceased by her parents, Armand and Edna Vallee, and her brother, Armand ‘Jerry’ Vallee Jr.
Born in East Bridgewater, MA, Michelle attended the West Street Program before COVID and later became a cherished member of the Center of Hope in Southbridge.
Mickey was a passionate wrestling fan and carried a collection of over 400 WWE DVDs. She cherished the moment she met her celebrity crush, John Cena. Her love for Disney, especially Mickey Mouse, inspired her nickname, and she found joy in playing her electric piano and adoring her stuffed animal collection.
Her family affectionately referred to her as ‘Sunshine’ and ‘Little Spitfire,’ reflecting her vibrant and spirited personality. Mickey was a determined and unique individual who communicated her desires with confidence, often using her wheelchair—lovingly referred to as her tank—to make a statement.
A funeral service to honor Mickey's life will be held on Friday, October 10th, at 10:30AM at the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, located at 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. A graveside service will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Sturbridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mickey's memory to the Center of Hope, 100 Foster Street, PO Box 66, Southbridge, MA 01550.
An online tribute video and guestbook for Mickey will be available at belangerfuneralhome.com.
