Michelle R. Mills, age 58, of Columbus, Ohio, was born July 15, 1965 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to Lee Edward Morgan and Delores Frain.
Michelle grew up in Bridgeton, New Jersey, and graduated from Bridgeton High School. She traveled and saw many parts of the world before settling in Ohio where she worked in the medical field for over 20 years.
Known to her loved ones as "Chelle", she had a zest for life and her energy was contagious which made her the life of the party. She had a heart of gold and she would give you the shirt off of her back. But definitely never had a problem with setting the record straight or telling you about yourself if needed. She always provided a safe space for her nieces and nephews, family and friends, to share their burdens, never judging their journeys but offering them loving and honest advice. Michelle loved to travel, loved Betty Boop, and always enjoyed taking trips with her sisters. She was very passionate about her family. She loved creating new memories and to simply put it, have a great time.
Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Lee Edward Morgan; and brother, Ossie Mills Jr.
Michelle leaves to remember her beautiful smile, kind heart and beautiful memories for years to come. This strong daughter, mother, sister and auntie won her crown in Heaven on June 9, 2024. She is survived by her loving mother, Deloris Frain; children, Antionette (Darius) Manning and Michael Graham; grandchildren, Tyjaun, Nikaya, Dariah, Aaliyah and Michaeri; siblings, Anthony, Debra (John), Lonnie (Anna), Patricia, Kenneth, Pearl, Delores, Barbara, Brian, Rosevelt (Nicole), Patricia Anna, Deidra (Rufus), Tammie, Charles (Janet) and Lee Jr. (Jermaine); special nieces, Jorgiana Mills and Shonda Mix; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
For the past 4 years Michelle fought with good faith against cancer; needless to say she won because now she is resting with our Heavenly Father.
