Michiko Ritchie, 90, of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Waterview Pointe.
Michiko was born January 10, 1935 in Kawasaki, Japan to Saburo and Eki {Matsumoto} Morita.
She married Ronald Ritchie in 1958 while he was stationed in Yokohama.
She was a homemaker and her family considered her to be the best cook in the world.
Michiko is survived by her children Donna (Gary) Bernloehr of Florida, Rick (Sherry) Ritchie of Marietta and Sharlene Fancey of Ostrander, OH; grandchildren Sara (Robert Moorehead) Fancey, Katie (Zach) Hanson, Grace (Seth) Wilson and Mark Ritchie; former husband Ronald Ritchie; brother Koutarou Morita of Japan.
In addition to her parents, Michiko was preceded in death by her son-in-law Lynn Fancey.
Friends may call Friday, October 31st from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta, OH 45750. Funeral services follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rollie Schwendeman officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
