Micki Ann Marks, born on September 20, 1968, in Gurdon, Arkansas, passed away on January 4, 2025, in Arkadelphia. A beloved soul, Micki was known for her vibrant personality and deep love for music. She cherished attending live concerts and sharing the joy of melodies with everyone around her.
Micki is survived by her fiancé, David Silvas of Arkadelphia. She was the proud mother of her son, Coty (Sequoia) Marks of Conway, Arkansas, and her daughter, Shauna Marks of Little Rock, Arkansas. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Arianna Sanders, Jaiden Tate, Kylan Marks, Corbin Marks, Maddox Marks, and Greyson Marks. Micki shared a close bond with her mother, Debrah Mead of Curtis, Arkansas, and her brother, Ronald Fields, Jr. (Melissa Dow). The family also includes several nieces: Angel Huddleston, Sharah Lacy, Tiarra Fields, and Nina Fields; and nephews Daanjalo Fields and Dorian Lacy. Micki was surrounded by a host of wonderful friends who will forever remember her warmth and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Fields, Sr., and her sister, Shannon Lacy.
Visitation will be held at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia on January 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, January 18, 2025, at the same location, starting at 1:00 PM. She will then be laid to rest at Golden Cemetery in Arkadelphia at 2:00 PM.
Micki's life was a beautiful melody, and her memory will continue to resonate with those who loved her.
