Miguel Lopez Obituary

Miguel was born and raised in North Philadelphia. He was a graduate of McClure Elementary, and Central Highschool (graduating class 269). He then went on to earn an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Community College of Philadelphia. He worked for Wine and Spirits, then DMV, DHS, and most recently as a Pennsylvania Parole agent. Miguel was a member of F.O.P Lodge 92.
Miguel was a devoted family man, and was incredibly giving of his time and energy. Whether it was an insightful thought or fixing a problem Miguel was always there for those who needed him. He was a man of few words, but his sarcastic personality could always make you laugh. Miguel enjoyed Marvel movies, and playing video games. He was also very athletic completing five Spartan Races.
Family and friends are invited to Miguel's Life Celebration on Saturday, December 2nd, from 11 – 2 pm at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the GoFund me set- up in Miguel's name.
