Miguel Roman

Miguel Angel Roman, age 64, of Netcong, New Jersey, died on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, New Jersey with family by his side.
Miguel was born and raised in New York, New York, the fourth child of the late Miguel and Adelita Roman. He was employed by Divine Cosmetics as a manufacturer for many years. He was a resident of Mt. Arlington before moving to Netcong five years ago, where he was a parishioner of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church.
Miguel was a proud veteran of foreign wars, serving in the Air Force as a young adult. His great passion and love for his country had always been a part of him.
Miguel loved TV and movies, mainly military films and Marvel movies, which stemmed from his love of comic books as a child. He was a lifelong fan of the Yankees and the Jets. He will be remembered as a sociable, charming, and silly man with a great sense of humor. Above all, he will be remembered for the love he held for his family.
In addition to his parents, Miguel is preceded in death by his siblings: Epifanio Roman, Melba Roman, Isabel Roman, and Edgar Diaz.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mercedes Roman, and children: Miguel Angel Roman Jr., Michelle Roman, Luana Roman, Christian Roman, and David Roman.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 from 5:00-7:30 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main Street, Netcong, NJ 07857. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
