MiKayla Lynn Davis

MiKayla Lynn Davis, age 15, of Rutherfordton went home to with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at her home while being surrounded by her loving family.

MiKayla was born Friday, February 25, 2011 in Rutherford County to Nancy Osborne who resides in Rutherfordton and Ronnie Davis of Spindale. She was a student at R-S Middle School where she was a cheerleader. She was known for her love of horses and highland cows. MiKayla enjoyed reading her Bible, scrapbooking and going fishing. She attended Forest City Church of God. MiKayla was an amazing young lady who fought hard in her battle with cancer. She never quit or gave up on God. She kept the faith. She is now dancing with the angels in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Jerry McCraw.

Left to honor her legacy are her parents, Nancy Osborne and Ronnie Davis; siblings, Cheyenne Cole (Cody) of Ellenboro, Jacob Davis and Isabella Taylor, both of the home; maternal grandmother, Debra McCraw of Rutherfordton and paternal grandmother, Viola Harris of Rutherfordton; aunts, Tracie Calhoun (Cameron) and Stephanie Robbins; uncles, Jason Hutchins (Lorena), Brandon Hutchins, Justin Robbins and Josh Robbins; nieces and nephews, Brealyn, Mavorick, Kayden and Emma.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 31st with Reverend Dylan Lewis and Mrs. Jill Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
